Barney Fisher-Turner was taught how to cook by the age of 13 by his mother who was a protege of the celebrated 1960s cookery writer Robert Carrier. He studied History of Art and Philosophy at University College London and worked for a couple of years as a negotiation strategist at a high-end London sculpture dealership; he also worked for several years as a development srategist for Hart Sharp Entertainment, a successful Film Production Company based in New York; during this period he worked on the Oscar winning film ‘Boy’s Don’t cry’, the Oscar nominated ‘You can count on me’ as well as many other major releases.

After moving to Turkey in 2004 he trained as a Food & Beverage stylist with the specialist food photographer Ahmet Agaoglu; (www.ahmetagaoglu.com) he also developed his technical skills with the London based ad photographer, Tim Hill. He is equally comfortable styling both stills and televison commercials and has worked with many notable photographers, film and video production companies and ad agencies in Istanbul and London.

In June 2009 Barney founded Food Link Productions, a unique production company and ad agency which specifically focuses on the conception and realization of high quality stills and tv commercials for the food side of the sector. (www.foodlinkproductions.com)

In July Barney was invited by renowned SFX liquid and mock up expert Kağan Buğra Hanoğlu and highly experienced Director/DP Patrice Marchetti to become a partner of the commercial demo company ‘Flow’
(www.st-flow.com).

Barney is well known for effectively combining proficient technical ability, acute atention to detail and a creative approach to problem solving. His International clients include McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Popeyes, Hellmans, Unilever, Tesco, Total, Bosch, Danone, Fritolay and Tefal; his Turkish clients include Garanti Bank, Ulker, Eti, Pinar, Banvit, Uno, Superfresh, Bahcivan, Yeni Raki, Mest Raki, Pizza Pizza, Mado, Selva, Komili, Kale, Pasabache, Mudo and Hare.

Currently Barney is based in Istanbul and London; he is happy to travel to any location in Europe, The Americas and Asia.
